This is how the positions in basketball are set up. First off, have at least 10 players on each team. Next, pick a point guard to go in the top center. This person will hold the ball for now. Then, pick 2 players to go at least 10 – 15 feet away on either side of the point guard. Then, put one more person at the left side at the bottom of the net. The fifth player stands near the foul line in front of the point guard (about 5 feet away). The rest of the players will sit on the sides (usually there will be a bench but there does not have to be one).┬áThere are 4 quarters and each quarter is 8 minutes long. When the quarter ends, the players on the bench will rotate with the other half of the team. The team that you are playing will look at you and put their hands up (this is called guarding) BOOM!!!!! There you have it , how to set up the positions in basketball.
